We are looking for a Chinese translatort to accurately translate and interpret Chinese and English to facilitate effective Communication in the organisation

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Translating documents, contracts, manuals, reports, emails, and correspondence from Chinese to English and vice-versa while ensuring translated content retains it’s original meaning, tone, and context.
• Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy and grammar, maintaining confidentiality of all translated documents.
• Responsible for real-time Chinese-English bilingual translation in the organisation, connecting Chinese management with Zambian local staff and local partners, ensuring smooth daily production and communication without information errors.
• Translate during phone calls and video conferences.
• Resolve daily communication barriers between Chinese and local teams, ensure effective information transmission, adapt to the company’s production schedule, and follow work arrangements.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (speaking, reading, writing) - HSK 4/5/6 advantage
• Excellent listening and note-taking skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Responsible, patient, detail-oriented, obedient to management with good communication and teamwork skills, able to adapt to the organization's working environment.
