Detailed Job Description Include the Following: *
You will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation services between Chinese and English languages during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions. Facilitate communication between two or more people speaking different languages; maintain integrity, impartiality and confidentiality of assignments and clearly communicate everything that is said without distortion or omission.
The ideal applicant should have well-rounded knowledge of Chinese and report writing skills. They should also have superb multitasking skills and able to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Providing interpretation into Chinese of speeches given in English, and interpretation into English of speeches given in Chinese.
• Listening to, understanding and translating spoken or written statements in the Chinese language.
• Providing accurate translations of texts.
• Attending meetings to translate discussions.
• Continually taking language fluency assessments to certify fluency.
• Liaising with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning.
• Providing interpretations of questions, answers, statements, arguments, explanations and other forms of verbal communication.

Requirements:

1.Grade 12 certificate.
2.1+ years as a Chinese interpreter.
3.Excellent interpretation and translation skills.
4.Must have studied Chinese Language.
5.Proficient in computer skills.
6.Fluent in both Chinese and English Language.
7.Flexible and willing to undertake other duties.
8.Attention to detail.
9.Good Time Management.
