JOB OPPORTUNITY – CIVIL ENGINEER (1 POSITION)

A private company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Civil Engineer.

Location: Lusaka / Project Sites (Zambia)

Overall Responsibility

• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve any construction or design issues.
• Coordinate and manage communications between subcontractors and the client.
• Ensure quality control, cost-efficiency, and safety on all project sites.
• Prepare project reports, budgets, and progress updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, preferably in real estate development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A valid driving licence will be an advantage.
