Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee structural, road, and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with National Council for Construction (NCC) and Zambian building codes.
- Supervise on-site construction to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Liaise with government agencies for permits and approvals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in Zambia.
- Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro).
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
