Background

ZVEC Group of Companies, operating under the Zambia Vocational Entrepreneurship College, is seeking talented professionals for multiple full-time roles based in Lusaka, Zambia. Responsibilities

This role is responsible for ensuring compliant, timely, and profitable customs clearing, forwarding, and logistics services. The manager will oversee all documentation and operational aspects from client instruction through to shipment closure.

• Manage customs, clearing, forwarding, and shipment documentation processes.
• Maintain licenses, agent records, and client compliance checklists.
• Supervise documentation, logistics, client service, and driver support teams.
• Track shipment status, revenue, margins, receivables, and resolve complaints.
• Ensure secure custody of documents and accurate customer updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant qualification in Customs Clearing, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least five years’ experience including supervisory roles.
• Applicable licenses or professional certifications.

Required Competencies

• Expertise in customs and clearing compliance.
• Strong coordination of shipment and logistics.
• Effective documentation and client communication skills.
• Commercial acumen in receivables and risk management.

Additional Details

Employment type: Full Time, subject to probation

Salary grade: Entity Manager Band S2

Start date: Immediate or as agreed.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
