JOB DETAILS:

NORTH WESTERN PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE (PEPFAR/CDC PROJECT)

Location: North Western Province, Zambia (Various Stations)

Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)

Clinical Mentors (HIV/TB) (2)

Provide ongoing clinical mentoring to less-experienced HIV and TB clinical providers through on-site training, consultation on complex cases, and assistance in case management .

Conduct assessments of clinicians to record the progress of their training and identify areas for improvement .

Provide clinical consultations to physicians, assisting them with direct patient care and problem-solving .

Conduct didactic training sessions to groups of health professionals on HIV/TB management according to national guidelines .

Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures for HIV/TB clinical care at treatment sites .

Submit monthly reports on training and technical assistance activities, including findings and recommendations for strengthening services .

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
• Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
• Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
• Relevant work experience as specified for the position
• Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
• ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
