Summary

As Cluster Administration and Finance Manager you will organize, manage and supervise the Administration and Finance teams and their activities in the different entities of the Cluster (region Zambia and DRC) in order to support the business and the Group objectives.

You will also coach and oversee the different Country Administration and Finance Managers anddevelop them and monitor their performance as well.

You will report to the Head of Administration and Finance and liaise with the headquarters.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Ensure that local operational entities’ Administration and Finance Teams comply with legal requirements and Group rules and policies and operate efficiently in order to support the business and the Group objectives.
  • Support the implementation and standardization of all financial processes and procedures throughout all the operational entities.
  • Ensure, in collaboration with the Shared Service Center team, that local operational entities comply with all accounting and regulatory requirements regarding financial reports.
  • Support the development and the activities of the Business Control in the local entities to deliver accurate financial reports in order to (1) perform and interpret financial analysis to advise the business in the decision-making process and (2) develop business trends and projections.
  • Complete regular financial review and delivering accurate financial reports (balance sheets reviews, etc.).
  • Support the business cycle process activities (budget & forecast).
  • Support, from a Finance perspective, the development of the main business / operational projects / offers (including review of offers and respect of Compliance).
  • Support, in collaboration with the Financing Department, the local implementation of the Financing Department’s strategy.
  • Manage all fiscal & legal matters regarding local entities, with, when required, the support of the Head of Legal.
  • Supervise the fiscal, financing & financial processes of all local operational entities.
  • Support the local entities in managing their non-HR insurance portfolio.
  • Create and develop a strong and reliable network of support functions, administration and internal partners.
  • Support the local entities in managing the IT and office management. Liaise with the Group support person to implement the IT and office management in the local entities you are responsible for.

Who are we looking for?

  • Master Degree in Business Administration or Finance and Accounting
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • 5-10 years’ experience in finance, accounting and/or controlling within an international industrial organization (with a preference in Africa)
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a Finance Manager position in Africa
  • Knowledge of the local environments, willingness to expatriate (if applicable).
  • Working experience in the African environment preferably with an experience in the sector of equipment distribution and/or in the mining sector and/or in construction
  • People management experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • SAP ERP System is a definite plus
