JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
To program, set up, operate, and monitor Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to perform tasks such as cutting, milling, drilling, or shaping materials (stone, aluminium, wood) based on digital designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines by loading materials, installing tools, and inputting programs.
- Interpret CAD/CAM drawings and G-code programs.
- Operate machines to perform precision cutting, carving, or milling.
- Monitor machine operations, make minor offsets, and conduct quality checks.
- Perform routine maintenance and report machine malfunctions.
- Ensure optimal material usage and minimal waste.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Certificate in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC routers, mills, or lathes.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Mastercam) is essential.
- Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.
