Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)
Community Liaison Officers (8)
- Coordinate community mobilization through outreach programs and supervise Community Health Workers to improve awareness and uptake of HIV prevention and treatment activities .
- Undertake and supervise community activities for TB contact tracing, defaulter tracing, and active case finding .
- Provide primary and secondary prevention programs including PrEP/PEP, condom distribution, and GBV/LIVES interventions to control new infections .
- Monitor the performance of all Community HIV Program targets and facilitate implementation of appropriate interventions .
- Supervise Community Health Workers to promote retention in care and maintain the continuum of HIV prevention and treatment services .
- Coordinate Action Groups and Community-Based Organizations to create strong linkages between the community and health facility structures .
- Supervise the provision of HIV Testing Services at the community level according to National HIV Consolidated Guidelines .
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
- Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
- Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
- Relevant work experience as specified for the position
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
- ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
