Company Driver

Adroit Engineering Construction Limited is inviting application for qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Company Driver in Lusaka. The candidate will support construction project operations through safe and efficient transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles, in line with road safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements
  • Transport staff, equipment, and construction materials to and from sites
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and ensure all vehicle documentations are valid and up to date
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fuelled, and serviced according to schedule
  • Support site logistics and assist with loading and offloading materials when required
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and maintain a professional driving record
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Valid C1 or CE manual driving license with a clean driving record
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Minimum of Certificate in Transport and Logistics or related field (mechanical or auto-electrical certification is an added advantage)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in the construction sector
  • Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, time management, trustworthy and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
