JOB DETAILS:
WE ARE HIRING: CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Location: Zambia (Mining & Construction Project Sites)
Company: Reputable construction firm
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong site supervision skills, experience in civil/building works, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily site activities in civil and building works
- Manage labour, subcontractors & site resources
- Interpret drawings and ensure work meets specifications
- Plan daily tasks, materials, tools & equipment
- Enforce safety procedures and lead toolbox talks
- Prepare daily site reports & updates
- Ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building Construction
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction (mining experience an added advantage)
- Strong knowledge of concrete works, formwork, earthworks, steel, and finishes
- Ability to read drawings and give clear instructions
- Valid manual driver’s license
- Sober-minded, reliable, and results-oriented
