Background/Introduction

Objective of the Consultancy

This request is meant to seek expressions of interest from a competent consultant (individual or company) to revise and update AAZ Human Resource Manual to current labour laws.

Scope of Assignment

The Terms of Reference for this assignment will include the following:

• To revise and update the Human Resources Manual (HR Manual) in the line with the labour laws.
• Align the HR manual to standard and current practices. Board Governance Manual

The current Human Resource Manual will be provided for reference.

Deliverables

Upon completion of this assignment, the consultant will present a report containing the key findings including:

• Proposed changes to the HR Manual
• Draft updated HR Manual.

Duration of Assignment

The duration of engagement is expected to be 20 days counted from contract signing. The timeline can be extended based on mutual agreement of both parties.

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal Consultant is expected to have the following profile:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Law or Human Resource Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to deliver within a given deadline.

Supervision/Reporting

The consultant will work directly with the Human Resources and Governance Coordinator to ensure that the consultant has a clear idea about the consultancy.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree

• Financial proposal including detailed breakdown of cost, VAT and TAX as appropriate.
• Certificate of good completion with 2 related samples of previous similar work and certification.
• Tax clearance certificate from ZRA.
