Career Opportunity:

We are seeking a driven and experienced agricultural professional to join our team as CSVC (Crop Science and Value Chain) / Agronomy Lead. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader ready to take ownership of production performance, strengthen grower relationships, and contribute to sustainable agricultural growth across both small-scale and commercial farming operations.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advance their leadership career while making a tangible impact across the agricultural value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of contracted leaf production targets in line with business plans
  • Manage integrated production and marketing systems to ensure operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and key stakeholders
  • Support and drive sustainability and ESG initiatives across the production value chain
  • Oversee departmental resources and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field
  • 5–10 years’ experience in agriculture or agribusiness, including supervisory or management exposure
  • Strong technical agricultural knowledge (tobacco experience advantageous)
  • Proven ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver operational results
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems
