DAIRY MANAGER | Heartlands Best Zambia (Livingstone)

Heartlands Best Zambia is seeking a skilled and experienced Dairy Manager to oversee both herd performance and value-added dairy production at our Livingstone operations.

This role demands discipline, strong systems thinking, and an uncompromising commitment to hygiene, quality, and efficiency.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing a dairy herd

Strong knowledge of:

• Herd health and nutrition
• Vaccination and medication programs
• Dipping and parasite control
• Mastitis prevention and control

Experience with automated milking systems

Proven administration, record-keeping, and reporting skills

Ability to lead and manage a team of approximately 8 staff members

Experience overseeing dairy production, including:

• Fresh milk
• Yoghurt, mabisi, cream, and related products
• Cold storage, shelf life management, packaging, and distribution

Added Advantage

Experience in artificial insemination
