AB Bank is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Data Analyst.

The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data and generating useful business reports.

Responsibilities or duties

Among other responsibilities, you will be expected to:

• Analyze data, generate useful business reports by using BI tools i.e Qlik Sense, Python, SQL.
• Advise on best methods to collect analyze and manage data to improve data quality and efficiency of data systems.
• Identify, interpret patterns and trends assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data.
• Analyze data in support of business cases and proposed projects by departmental managers and Collect needs and requirements from business users.
• Responsible for supporting data analysis and generating useful business reports by using MS.
• Analyze data in support of business cases and proposed projects by departmental managers.
• Design and deliver weekly/ monthly performance reports.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or Statistics. ZAQA certification is a must.
• Minimum of 1 year data mining experience.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular).
• Profound knowledge in SQL, Qlik and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of enterprise applications (e.g., core banking, ERP, Mobile Banking, Online Banking).
• Ability to use SQL, Python or ETL Logic for Scripting
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to comprehend and align with the organization’s goals and objectives with strong customer service orientation.

Experience needed

Minimum of 1 year data mining experience.
