As part of the commencement of a new project in North-Western and Copperbelt Province, we invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following positions:
Job Purpose
To provide effective on-site safety leadership while ensuring optimal production from assigned drill rigs through supervision, coaching, and operational management.
Main Duties
- Provide day-to-day safety leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE, legislative, and company requirements.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Identify training needs and ensure implementation of approved training plans.
- Monitor training standards and provide timely feedback to management.
- Supervise drilling operations to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance activities and reporting requirements are completed within stipulated timelines.
- Monitor crew performance and enforce operational standards.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years' hands-on drilling experience (excluding offsiding) across various drilling techniques, including RC, Diamond, RAB, and Water Bore Drilling.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Drill Supervisor role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage diverse drill crews.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination.
- Provide day-to-day safety leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE, legislative, and company requirements.
