Job description:

Overall Role Purpose

To carry out day to day Shift operation of Enterprise Nickel long haulage by upholding high standards of safety in accordance with company policies and production of quality product.

Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables 

• Safety of all activities carried out within operating site both by KML and Contractors on site.
• Ensure the KPIs are achieved in the assigned sections.
• Ensure that Nickel ore is delivered to the enterprise crusher in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure that he drives to the condition of the road and follows the speed limits at all times.
• Control the operational activities in the assigned area of operation.
• Ensure the Mobile equipment in the area adheres to standard operational procedures.
• Analyse and report defects to supervisor / maintenance.
• Ensure good work environment (good housekeeping) and clean machine.
• Any other duties as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• The Operator should have knowledge on various earth moving machines and basic maintenance on machines.
• Minimum of Two (2) years working experience with trucks.
• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Training Certification
• CE drivers licence
• Have Knowledge of Mechanical Horse Truck driving.
• All certificates must be certified by ZAQA

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
