JOB DETAILS:

Aller Aqua Zambia Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Driver. The role reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager and will be based at the Aller Aqua Zambia Lusaka Office, in Lusaka.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Driver is responsible for providing a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for staff, goods, and materials, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to Aller Aqua Zambia’s operational needs while maintaining the highest standards of road safety and vehicle care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring timely Picking and dropping of visitors as assigned and ensuring safety of self and others while driving
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks and ensuring the vehicle logbook is up to date.
• Ensuring all weekly collections to and from the factory are done and all necessary documentation is shared.
• Ensuring that the assigned vehicle(s) always has/have sufficient fuel.
• Arranging for and ensuring completion of routine maintenance of vehicle(s) and transporting vehicles to and from maintenance and/or repair facilities.
• Assisting in submitting and collecting permit applications and any other parcels or documents.
• Assisting with the buying of the factory canteen items and any other administrative goods.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE)
• Valid C1 Class manual driver’s license or better.
• Certified in Defensive Driving.
• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Strong knowledge of Lusaka and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
