INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION

The Driver role is designed to support Delta Auto & Equipment Ltd in the safe transportation of staff, goods, and equipment. The role also involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing basic maintenance checks.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport members of staff, goods, or equipment.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
• Plan and manage logistics, routes, and schedules.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure.
• Maintain accurate use of logbooks and mileage records.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license – Class CE
• Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience
• Ability to drive Foton Aumark light trucks, dump trucks, etc., will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations
• Must be a resident of Kitwe (non-negotiable requirement)
