INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION
The Driver role is designed to support Delta Auto & Equipment Ltd in the safe transportation of staff, goods, and equipment. The role also involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing basic maintenance checks.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport members of staff, goods, or equipment.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Plan and manage logistics, routes, and schedules.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure.
- Maintain accurate use of logbooks and mileage records.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license – Class CE
- Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience
- Ability to drive Foton Aumark light trucks, dump trucks, etc., will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Must be a resident of Kitwe (non-negotiable requirement)
