The Drivers will play a pivotal role in supporting agricultural activities by safely transporting staff, equipment, agricultural inputs, and promotional materials to various field locations. Operating both 5-ton trucks and standard company vehicles, you will ensure all transport activities align with company safety and maintenance standards. This position requires a proactive approach to vehicle care and logistical support during diverse field-based initiatives.

Responsibilities or duties

• Operate 5-ton trucks and regular company vehicles safely during field visits, road shows, and agricultural demonstrations.
• Transport staff, agricultural inputs, equipment, products, and promotional materials efficiently to and from field locations.
• Participate actively in road shows, farmer engagement activities, and field campaigns.
• Conduct routine field trips to farms and agricultural sites as required by operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, and roadworthiness through regular upkeep.
• Assist with loading, securing, and unloading agricultural materials and equipment when necessary.
• Keep accurate records including vehicle logbooks, trip documentation, and fuel usage.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Support the field team with logistical tasks during road shows and other field activities.
• Carry out additional driving and field-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Valid Class CE Driver’s Licence.
• Strong knowledge of local roads with the ability to travel extensively to rural and field locations.

Experience needed

• Between 5 and 10 years of professional driving experience in logistics, field operations, or related environments.
• Proven experience operating 5-ton trucks alongside light or regular vehicles.
• Experience in road shows, agricultural demonstrations, or field campaigns is an advantage.
