Background

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious Management Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for management staff while ensuring the assigned vehicle is maintained in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport management staff to and from meetings, appointments, and other official engagements.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, and fuel consumption records.
  • Observe all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Assist with the collection and delivery of documents and other official errands as assigned.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of passengers and company information.
  • Be available to work outside normal working hours when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Class B or higher) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a driver.
  • Defensive Driving Certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent driving and road safety skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual, dependable, and well-groomed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.
  • Must reside within or close to Heritage Commercial Park, Chalala, to ensure reliable and timely reporting for work.
