Company: Good Time Steel Company Zambia Limited
Location: Lusaka
Good Time Steel Company Zambia Limited, a leading manufacturing company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Electrical Technologist.
Job Purpose:
To ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to support continuous plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Support production teams to minimize downtime
- Assist in upgrading and improving electrical systems
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) will be an added advantage
