Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and licensed Electrician to join our growing technical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solar back up systems, electrical installations, wiring, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for solar pumping systems, Electric water pumps, Control panels, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations for solar water systems, solar back up systems ,Water pumps, borehole pumps, and control panels.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain water electrical systems and components to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in the field and workshop.
  • Support project teams during installations and commissioning of water and solar systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ZESCO, EIZ, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Craft Certificate or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Practicing License with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or relevant regulatory body (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation in solar and or water pumping systems.
  • Sound knowledge of wiring, circuit design, and electrical safety standards in solar and or water pumping systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings of solar and or water pumping systems.
  • Must be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
