JOB DETAILS:
Certification Required: Craft Certificate in Electrical.
- Primary Responsibility: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the mine.
- Key Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
- Perform maintenance on motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical apparatus.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with the Zambian electrical code and mine safety standards.
- Test electrical systems for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Isolate and ground circuits safely before beginning work.
