VACANCY: ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST

COPTIC HOSPITAL is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital.
• Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices.
• Conduct health and safety awareness and provide guidance to staff on environmental health matters.
• Identify environmental health risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA is required.
• Must be registered with HPCZ and possess a valid practicing licence.
• Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
