JOB DETAILS:
Certification Required: Excavator Operator's Certificate.
- Primary Responsibility: Operate an excavator to dig, trench, lift, and move earth, rock, and other materials.
- Key Duties:
- Perform routine checks on the excavator's controls and systems.
- Dig and excavate according to site plans and grade specifications.
- Handle and place materials with precision to assist in construction and mining activities.
- Ensure the stability of the excavator and the safety of the work area.
- Perform minor maintenance and lubrication; report major mechanical issues.
- Work closely with ground crews to avoid hazards and ensure efficient workflow.
