Zambian Financial Sector Deepening Limited (FSD Zambia) is a Zambian organisation working closely with key players throughout the economy lo ersure that all Zambians are financially healthy, particularly the most excluded and underserved. We help rural families, women, youth, low income people, and other households in Zambia to understand and access a wide range of sustainable, comparable and affordable financial services. To expand financial inclusion, we collaborate with both public and private sector institutions to make financial markets work better. FSD Zambia enhances trust between clients and suppliers of financial services by helping to bring peop e together cultivate understanding, stimulate innovation, and lower costs. In this way all women, men, girls and boys can learn about, choose, and use a wide range of financ al services that have the most positive impact on their lives. FSD Zambia enjoys the active support of financing partners UK Aid, SIDA, Rural Finance Expansion Programme (RUFEP) and Comic Relief/Jersey Overseas Aid.
Objective
The objective of the external audil is to express a professional opinion on the Financ al Statements of the Zambian Financial Sector Deepening Limited (FSD Zambia). These Financial Statements, among others, consist of the income and expenditure account, statement of financial position, statement of cash flows, and statement of changes in funds. ESD Zambia is requesting proposals from suitably qualified and experienced internationally acclaimed local firms for provision of external audit services for the financial years ending 31 March 2020,31 March 2021 and 31 March 2022. .

Required experience and qualifications
• The audit firm should have a valid license from the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants, a valid lax certificate and valid practicing certificates for the partners.
• The key audit team will comprise of, at least:
• A partner with at least 15 years of experience in auditing in similar business as FSD ZAMBIA In addition, he/she should be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants;
• A manager with at least ACCA, ZICA and\or a degree in accounting with a minimum of 7 years' experience in auditing, and A senior with at least a minimum of 3 years professional experience in auditing The key audit team:
• Shall be not completely impartial and independent from all aspects of management or financial interests of the organization, and b. Shalinoi, during the period covered by the audit nor during the undertaking of the audit, be employed by, serve as advisers or mentors lor, or have any financial or business relationships with FSD Zambia..
