JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Farm Manager to lead and oversee diverse agricultural projects, including horticultural farming, commercial crop production (maize and soya), and goat farming. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership and a deep passion for agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily farm operations, ensuring effective management of crops and livestock.
• Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and provide training where necessary.
• Develop and implement crop and livestock production plans, ensuring optimal yields.
• Monitor and maintain farm equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate farm records, including production reports, expenses, and employee records.
• Implement best farming practices to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
• Manage budgets and control costs to achieve financial targets.
• Monitor market trends and provide recommendations for business growth.

Requirements:

• Must be a registered member of the Agricultural Institute of Zambia (AIZ).
• Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar farm management role is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A genuine passion for agriculture and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
