We Are Building a Roster of Exceptional Field Officers

Noble Syntax is proactively screening and onboarding highly skilled enumerators to form a verified talent database for rapid deployment across upcoming research projects, spanning both qualitative and quantitative methods.

This is not a call for a specific project. Noble Syntax is building a pool of verified, high-performing field enumerators who can be mobilized swiftly for studies across sectors, including health, education, governance, agriculture, and social development. If you are experienced, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality data collection, we want to hear from you.

ABOUT NOBLE SYNTAX

Noble Syntax Limited is a data and technology consultancy based in Lusaka, Zambia. We help development organizations, research institutions, and government agencies design, collect, manage, and make sense of their data. Our work spans survey data systems, geospatial analysis, data pipelines, and custom technology solutions; all tailored to the unique demands of the development sector. From building complex survey instruments in various mobile data collection tools to developing real-time dashboards and data quality frameworks, we bring technical depth with field-level understanding.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Requirements

  • – Diploma or degree in any field
  • – At least 1 year of field data collection experience
  • – Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • – Comfort using digital data collection tools
  • – Strong communication and active listening skills
  • – Ability to work independently in diverse field environments
  • – High ethical standards and commitment to research integrity

Preferred Requirements

  • – Experience with mixed-methods research designs
  • – Multilingual or proficiency in local community languages
  • – Prior work on donor-funded or NGO research projects
  • – Ability to facilitate FGDs and lead IDI sessions
  • – Experience with transcription or qualitative data coding
  • – Willingness to travel to rural or hard-to-reach areas
  • – Proven track record of meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks
