Kazang Solar Limited is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, and experienced Finance and Administration Manager to lead our financial and administrative functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic finance professional to play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will oversee all financial and administrative operations, ensuring sound financial management, compliance with statutory requirements, and the efficient use of organizational resources.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual budgets and financial plans.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and management reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare special financial reports and analyses as required by management.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support management with financial planning and decision-making.
- Develop strategies to improve profitability and reduce financial risk.
Accounting & Internal Controls
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
- Develop, review, and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of financial information and records.
- Oversee asset management and maintain accurate fixed asset registers.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, statutory obligations, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate audits and provide supporting documentation as required.
- Advise management on changes in legislation and their implications for the business.
Administration & Team Leadership
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures.
- Supervise payroll processing, tax filings, and other statutory submissions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to finance and administration staff.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Establish departmental goals and monitor performance against agreed targets.
Strategic Support
- Work closely with the General Manager in developing business plans and operational budgets.
- Support organizational growth through financial planning, forecasting, and resource management.
- Contribute to overall business success by providing sound financial and administrative leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Valid membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years' relevant work experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior finance or similar management role.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and team leadership.

- Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
