Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily vehicle movements and track shipments in real time using GPS and telematics.
- Coordinate drivers and manage trip scheduling from dispatch to completion.
- Communicate trip requirements, coordinate working hours, and enforce safety and company policies.
- Schedule preventative maintenance, arrange vehicle checks, and respond to breakdowns or emergencies promptly.
- Monitor legal compliance including licenses and permits, fuel consumption, and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- High school diploma with relevant experience; tertiary qualifications in supply chain or logistics are advantageous.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in logistics, tracking, or transport operations.
- Proficiency in GPS tracking software, telematics, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to multitask under pressure.
