Overview
Our client is seeking five (5) highly organised and proactive Fleet Supervisors to oversee the day-to-day management of its vehicle fleet. Reporting directly to the Country Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring fleet efficiency, vehicle compliance, cost control, and operational excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced fleet professionals who are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the company fleet to ensure optimal vehicle availability and utilisation.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, insurance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, maintenance costs, and driver compliance.
- Maintain accurate fleet records and prepare operational reports.
- Manage relationships with service providers and external contractors.
- Investigate vehicle incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Fleet Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet supervision, transport operations, or fleet management.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet compliance, and transport regulations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a valid driver’s licence.
