JOB DETAILS:

HiCareer is helping a remote-first SaaS scaleup hire a Frontend Developer. The company has grown steadily over the past few years and now serves customers in 15+ countries. With a strong focus on design and usability, they’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the frontend experience and help scale their product to the next level.

You’ll work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers — turning ideas into smooth, performant, and accessible user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Develop responsive web applications with modern frameworks (React, TypeScript)
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into high-quality code
• Improve performance, accessibility, and cross-browser consistency
• Contribute to component libraries and design systems for reuse across the platform
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team

First Months in the Role

In your first 3–6 months, you’ll:

• Lead improvements on the company’s core dashboard for smoother navigation
• Introduce best practices for frontend testing and performance optimisation
• Ship at least one major customer-facing feature in collaboration with design & product

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in frontend development
• Strong skills in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
• Used to work with AI tools (i.e Cursor) to speed up your delivery
• A good eye for design and usability; ability to work well with design teams
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus

• Fully remote within CET ±3h
• International product team of ~30 people across engineering, design, and product
• Culture of ownership and collaboration, where shipping value comes first
