Fuel Attendant – 5 Positions
Job Summary
The Fuel Attendant will be responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of fuel to company vehicles and equipment while maintaining proper fuel records and a clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense fuel accurately and safely to vehicles and equipment.
- Record fuel issued, vehicle details, quantities, and mileage where required.
- Monitor fuel levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and order around the fuel station.
- Follow fuel-handling, fire-safety, and environmental procedures.
- Inspect fuel dispensing equipment and report faults.
- Assist with daily fuel reconciliation and stock checks.
- Provide professional service to drivers and other authorized users.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a fuel attendant is an advantage.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Honest, alert, safety-conscious, and physically fit.
