JOB VACANCY – GROUND SECURITY SUPERVISOR

Location: Kitwe, Zambia

GEYES Incorporated, a leading provider of security services operating across Zambia, seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Ground Security Manager.

Reporting Line:

The Ground Security Manager reports directly to the Commander (Operations) and will have direct oversight of Guarding Controllers and site-based security personnel.

Main Purpose of the Job:

To provide hands-on leadership and coordination of ground-level guarding operations, ensuring Guarding Controllers and site officers execute duties in line with company SOPs, client requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate Guarding Controllers across assigned sites
• Monitor daily deployment and attendance of guarding personnel
• Conduct spot checks and site inspections to ensure operational standards are maintained
• Investigate and report security incidents, breaches, or non-compliance
• Liaise with the security manager on ground-level operational challenges and escalations
• Enforce discipline and adherence to company policies among guarding staff
• Ensure proper handover procedures between shifts are followed
• Compile daily/weekly site security reports for management review

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a security supervisory or management role
• Prior experience in guarding operations preferred
• Sound knowledge of Zambian security industry regulations and standards
• Valid Zambia Police clearance
