Mooto Holdings Digital Innovation Hackathon Internship Programme – Call for Applications

Mooto Holdings invites applications from talented and motivated young graduates to participate in its 3-Month Digital Innovation Hackathon Internship Programme. This programme provides an exciting opportunity for early-career software developers to gain practical experience by working on real-world digital platforms in areas such as digital governance, climate technology, blockchain innovation, and artificial intelligence.

During the programme, interns will collaborate with other developers in structured teams to design and build technology solutions under the mentorship of experienced professionals. Participants will gain hands-on experience in software development, product design, teamwork, and innovation within a professional technology development environment.

The programme will be hosted at Mooto College of Business, where selected interns will be accommodated on site and will work from the institution’s co-working innovation space equipped with high-speed internet and development facilities.

This traineeship is designed not only as a learning opportunity but also as a talent recruitment pipeline. Outstanding participants will have the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment with Mooto Holdings after the completion of the programme.

Programme Details

• Duration: 3 Months
• Location: Mooto College of Business
• Working Arrangement: Full-time collaborative development environment
• Accommodation: Provided at the college residence facilities
• Meals: Self-catering (shared kitchen facilities available)
• Monthly Stipend: K1,000 to support food and personal upkeep

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months
• Must be 25 years of age or younger
• Must possess strong computer literacy and programming skills
• Must own a personal laptop/computer suitable for software development
• Must be willing to commit full-time for the entire 3-month programme
• Must be available for potential full-time employment after the traineeship
