Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a versatile individual who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems, appliances, and fixtures, ensuring safety and functionality for clients or business premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repair: Perform a variety of general maintenance and repairs around the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other tasks as needed.
• Installation Work: Install appliances, fixtures, furniture, and various equipment (e.g., shelves, doors, light fixtures, and windows).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and provide solutions to problems with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems, ensuring minimal disruption to the property.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local safety regulations and standards.
• Customer Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize the risk of future breakdowns.
• Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain, repair, and operate various hand and power tools. Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Documentation: Complete work orders, report on completed work, and track materials and supplies used.
• Emergency Repairs: Be available for emergency repairs, if required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items as needed.
• Valid driver’s license (if travel is required for work).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in plumbing and electrical
• Previous experience in property management or construction.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle urgent maintenance requests.
