We are looking for an experienced and qualified Health & Safety Supervisor to join our team and ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy working environment.
Responsibilities or duties
- Supervise and implement workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and prepare relevant reports.
- Support emergency preparedness, risk assessments, and safety improvement initiatives.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in Health & Safety or a related industrial environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Occupational Safety & Health
- Strong knowledge of workplace Health & Safety practices and regulations.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and industrial environment.
