About the role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Auto Electrician to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on heavy-duty mining and construction equipment.

Employment Type:
Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and auxiliary mining machinery
- Carry out troubleshooting using electrical schematics and diagnostic tools
- Install and service lighting, batteries, alternators, starters, wiring systems, controllers, sensors, and control panels
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer standards
- Support field repair assignments when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Heavy Duty Auto Electrician
- Strong experience working on heavy equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair:
- Starting and charging systems
- Wiring harnesses
- Sensors, ECUs, and control modules
- Lighting and safety systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals
- Experience working in mining or construction environments is an added advantage
Additional Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification or certification
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work on site and rotational schedules
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of basic HSE standards
Compensation:
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
