What you will enjoy doing

• Inspect cylinders for correct ownership and suitability for filling, including test status verification
• Check and maintain cylinder filling pumps, hoses, connections, and valves to ensure safe operation
• Sort and stack cylinders by category to prevent mix-ups and ensure correct filling pressures
• Conduct leak tests on valves and neck threads during and after filling to prevent gas loss and accidents
• Perform purity tests on representative cylinders to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain good housekeeping by arranging cylinders properly and removing unwanted materials

What makes you great

• You possess a full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent, and a technical qualification is an added advantage
• You have atleast 3 years' experience in operating and inspecting gas cylinders or similar equipment in a production environment
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards, including ability to perform leak and purity tests
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Mechanical aptitude and capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy cylinders
