Job Overview:
We are seeking a High Voltage (HV) Electrician to support the maintenance and operation of high-voltage power systems within our mining operations. The role requires technical expertise in HV networks, switchgear, and compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot high-voltage systems (up to 33kV and above)
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transformers, breakers, and substations
• Ensure system safety by following LOTO (Lockout Tagout) and isolation procedures
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new HV infrastructure
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Respond to power-related breakdowns to minimize operational downtime

Qualifications:

• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• HV Certification is mandatory
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with HV systems in mining or industrial settings
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
