Organization: North Western Provincial Health Office (CDC/PEPFAR Project)
Responsibilities or duties
- Strengthen prevention efforts for populations vulnerable to HIV and TB by supporting prevention program design and implementation .
- Coordinate the development of programs/interventions and activities targeting vulnerable populations .
- Liaise with government counterparts for the inclusion of HIV, STI, and TB prevention in programs designed for various vulnerable groups .
- Collaborate with program implementers and partners to devise approaches to increase HIV/STI/TB screening and linkage to treatment and care .
- Assist with the development and placement of campaigns to improve knowledge and reduce risk behaviors among vulnerable populations .
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
- Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
- Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
- ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
Experience needed
