Background
Makeni Institute Trust seeks the services of a holticulturist to manage the school garden and facilitate the training of pupils in growing various types of plants.
Qualifications or requirements
- hold a horticultural diploma from a reputable Institution
- Well-versed in modern farming practices
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- Have working knowledge of different irrigation practices
Experience needed
- Minimum three years of practical hands-on experience growing horticultural vegetables and plants
- Able to organise crop schedules
- Have experience in nursery and seedling management
