Housekeepers / Room Attendants (2 Positions)

Housekeepers and Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

Room Cleaning:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms.

Linen Replacement:

Replace used linen and towels with fresh, pressed items.

Amenity Replenishment:

Replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, tea/coffee supplies, stationery) daily.

Public Area Cleaning:

Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other public areas.

Maintenance Reporting:

Identify and report maintenance issues (burned-out bulbs, leaking faucets) promptly.

Lost and Found:

Report any lost and found items to the supervisor.

Guest Requests:

Respond promptly to guest requests for extra pillows, blankets, or other items.

Health & Safety:

Follow cleaning protocols, use cleaning chemicals safely, and adhere to health and safety standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Relevant academic or professional qualifications for specialised positions.

Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Applicants must be hardworking, honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
