Job purpose
Reporting to HR Manager and is responsible for managing employee compensation data, HR systems, and payroll-related processes. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant HR data management while providing actionable insights for business decision-making. Strong proficiency in Excel and attention to detail are critical.
Key responsibilities
Compensation & Payroll Management
- Maintain accurate salary, benefits, and allowances data in HRIS and Excel systems.
- Support payroll processing, including data reconciliation and reporting.
- Assist in benchmarking and market analysis for compensation and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, local labor laws, and tax regulations.
HR Data & Systems Management
- Manage and update employee data in HRIS and related systems.
- Generate reports and dashboards for management, highlighting trends and insights.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validations.
- Develop and maintain Excel models for compensation planning, headcount tracking, and HR analytics.
Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare HR metrics, dashboards, and ad hoc reports for leadership.
- Analyze compensation and workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support HR projects requiring detailed data analysis and Excel modeling.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure HR processes comply with organizational standards and statutory requirements.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for data management and reporting efficiency.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, compensation management, or HRIS/data analytics.
- Proven track record in Excel-based reporting and HR data management.
Technical Skill & Competencies:
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation, charts).
- Strong HRIS/data systems experience.
- Payroll and compensation systems knowledge.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
