A leading manufacturing conglomerate spanning fertilizer production, porcelain tile manufacturing & industrial packaging seeks an HSE Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all Health, Safety & Environmental functions across the Group — driving compliance and a proactive safety culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop & implement Group-wide HSE strategies, policies & standards.
- Champion a proactive safety, health & environmental culture.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations.
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification & mitigation.
- Monitor HSE performance via audits, inspections & KPIs.
- Lead incident investigations & corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage environmental compliance, waste & sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, business continuity & crisis response.
- Coordinate HSE audits, training programs & executive reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science/Management, Engineering or related (MSc a plus).
- NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
- 10+ years in HSE management, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Proven track record managing HSE systems across multiple business units.
- Strong knowledge of OHS legislation & international best practices.
- Manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture or energy experience an advantage.
- Familiarity with IFC / World Bank ESS performance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Professional HSE body membership & regulatory-agency experience a plus.
