Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified, competent and proactive Human Resources Officer to lead our HR function. The successful candidate will manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance and ensure adherence to local employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold HR policies in line with the Zambian Employment Act and other relevant legislation
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Administer employee contracts, payroll and benefits in accordance with Zambian labor policies
  • Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting as per Zambian statutory requirements
  • Coordinate training and development programs
  • Promote a positive company culture and employee engagement
  • Stay updated on changes in Zambian labor law and advise Management accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within the security or related industries in Zambia
  • Sound knowledge of the Zambian Employment Act and other relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is advantageous
  • Must be a member of the ZIHRM
  • 25 years and above
