Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is currently seeking to employ a Hydropower Engineer in the Construction Department to join our growing team.
Responsibilities or duties
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of water and electricity systems within the company premises.
- Assist in the management of construction projects of the Company and the management of local employees.
- Assist Chinese engineers with construction works, including planning of new construction, maintenance and renovation projects.
- Daily management, skills training and development of local employees.
- Assist Chinese engineers with any other related work.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or above in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Resilient and a strong sense of safety awareness, obedience to leadership management, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in operating Microsoft Office software, CAD drawing software, and familiar with various electrical appliances and related construction materials.
- Familiar with construction-related standards.
Experience needed
- Minimum three (03) years of experience in water engineering, electricity installation and construction management, as well as over three (03) years of experience in water circuit and equipment maintenance.
- Experienced in independently managing projects and have rich experience in employee/team management.
- Proficient in the maintenance and repair of transformers, generators, photovoltaic systems, motors, water heaters, and switch circuits.

- Residents of Ndola and the Copperbelt are preferred.
NOTE. All interviews shall be conducted in-person at our Sakania Office in Ndola.
