JOB OPPORTUNITY: INTERN ENGINEER (CONSTRUCTION)
Company: Classic Steel Fabrication Limited
Location: New Kasama Lusaka.
Position: Intern Engineer – Construction
Duration: Internship (3–6 Months)
Job Description:
We are inviting applications from motivated and enthusiastic Graduate/Student Engineers to join our construction team as Intern Engineers. The successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in site operations, supervision, and project execution under the guidance of qualified engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in site supervision and daily construction activities
- Support setting out, measurements, and quality control works
- Assist in preparing site reports and progress updates
- Monitor material usage and workmanship on site
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Work closely with engineers, foremen, and contractors
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering / Building Technology or related field
- Recent graduate or student seeking industrial attachment
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and site practices
- Willingness to learn and work on site
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Prior site attachment or internship experience
- Membership or registration with a relevant engineering body (if applicable)
