Background

Nasle Technologies is looking for a highly skilled and self-driven IT Project Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who can work independently on client projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and technical surveys.
  • Prepare technical recommendations and project implementation plans.
  • Install, configure, and commission IT and electronic security solutions.
  • Train end-users on newly implemented systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site and remotely.
  • Ensure projects are completed professionally and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide technical support and post-installation assistance.
  • Prepare basic technical reports and installation documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' hands-on experience in IT projects (This requirement is non-negotiable).
  • Fresh graduates without practical work experience will not be considered.
  • Must be between 23 and 35 years of age.
  • Must reside not far from Great East Road Road in Lusaka.
  • Must have excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Technical Skills

Applicants must demonstrate strong practical experience in:

  • IT Support
  • Computer Networking
  • Door Access Control Systems
  • Time & Attendance Systems
  • Video Conferencing Systems
  • Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the above systems.
